Sometimes in life, we end up getting distracted or pulled aside when we are at bat. It’s important that we look up every once in awhile and check that we are prepared for what’s next to come. Just like in a game of baseball, a batter might be too distracted on getting the perfect hit that he doesn’t watch the ball. Because he was inattentive, he missed the hit. Baseball is similar to life in this way. If we don’t watch for something to come our way, whether they be trials or opportunities; strikes or hits, we miss them almost completely! If we don’t glance at the ball, it could come back to get us… in the face! So next time you have that big test or job interview, you may want to look up and make sure that you’re watchin’ that pitch!

    1. Thank you so much, Jeni! I love that through experiencing so much I can share it with others. Through writing, I have found a way to cope with Lyme along with share what I’ve learned and I really hope that others can find that for themselves too! I’m really glad that you liked it. 🙂
